Original canvas, 16 x 20.  Sides painted dark purple, varnished, signed, and ready to hang.  Lots of gold paint pen and background markings.  "Pleasantly Surprised" is named so because this painting started out something else entirely - as is the case with many of my paintings - and ended up so differently.  It has a lot of texture and markings, some of which were pure accident :)
